CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) It is located on the Wyoming/Colorado State line and known to be the home to 2700 bison. Terry Bison Ranch is hosting its first Drive-in movie theater. Over on the north Pasture, the scene set for a 200 car maximum lot. Keeping the capacity to two hundred allows for the proper social distancing.
The famous resort says the idea of a drive-in movie night came from Promoter Hamilton Byrd of Blue Pig Productions. "He came to me and said maybe we should do a drive-in movie theater, and I agreed that was an epic idea."General Manager Rica Robinson went on to say
"We did a tour of the property to see what would work best, and how we could make this happen with honoring what's happening with COVID-19 virus. It happened, and within days we were sold out,"
The people voted for a 1987 classic film that remains to be timeless, The Princess Bride.
"We're off the grid, but if we can offer a safe environment for people to get out of cabin fever, I think that's a tremendous value."
Robinson expressed that she hopes people can get out and have a night of fun with their Mothers. "Being able to provide something during these trying times is an awesome experience for me. I hope it brings the community together because we need that right now."
