The Umpqua Community Veg Education Group is holding a movie night on Tuesday to promote a plant-based diet.
“The Game Changers” will be shown, produced by James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan. A release said the movie follows an elite special forces trainer and winner of The Ultimate Fighter, whose world is turned upside down when he discovers a group of athletes and scientists who disprove the misconception that protein is best sourced from animal products.
The screening is open to the public but an RSVP is appreciated. The event will take place in the rear lot behind Old Soul Pizza on Main Street downtown and will begin at 7:00 p.m. The release said social distancing rules will be followed.
