READER POST: My thoughts on the current status of our National Political Scene and how we can change it for the better:
We are lead by those we choose and must hold ourselves accountable.
Collectively we have selected the perfect cast for a Hollywood Blockbuster. Choosing the most entertaining options with the most funding and fortune ahead of candidates that may demonstrate great records that validate a better understanding of public leadership as outlined in the constitution and present themselves in a less over the top fashion. We have to stop being entertained by the continuous mudslinging and divisive charades of the elected and get focused on a better way to build our communities and select our leaders.
Our latest national elected leaders (Congress and Senate included) are more fitting to be the cast of a Hollywood producer aiming for an award winning Netflix series with great drama, conflict, and division. Collectively, we are that producer and have selected the perfect cast for such a series
This nation is now the leading role in a world-wide Sit Com / Action Movie / Sleazy Drama / Detective Series / Reality Show / etc. Truth and Lies are best disguised to maintain the suspense and increase the viewing audience.
Other than the ethical professional journalists, many talking heads and the media industry thrive off this and are more interested in viewers than truth and freedom win over lies and division. It is about ratings, our attention to it only fuels the flame.
CNN, Fox and unfortunately, the majority of voters don't mind and even enjoy the Soap Opera!! Misery loves company.
Less fan fair and entertainment and more responsible citizens taking interest in electing better options is the need!!!
If you do not enjoy being the pawn/extra in this show, what can you do to change it?
Unfortunately, that is what the population seems to want, this entertainment rather select responsible, representatives with strong moral fortitude and the mission to to protect our inalienable rights to govern ourselves. We are failing to select leaders that practice prudent oversight for the collective preservation of our independence from tyranny and unrighteous rule.
I do hope you have recognized that this is not a post that is siding with any party or organization. It is a post that hopefully causes you to think about our role in a community and that we collectively are the ones accountable for the current environment in which we live.
I feel that this country is ready for a movement that is sizable enough to counter the trends of sitting aside and watching the entertainment. We are beginning to truly feel the pains of division and are ready to gather together and take greater responsibility of our communities.
Modern technology and the power of social media can be aligned in a way to discover the dynamic leaders among us, and spark the light within the silent majority. Those ready to serve the needs of our communities are anxiously awaiting the tools and the invitation to make a positive difference and belong to a group that is focused on helping.
Leaders will rise from all segments of the community. All will be able to participate. Genders, races, ages, etc. will not be "just included", these differences will be its power and at the same time the differences will fade into the background and unity come forward..
United we Stand - Divided, we will fall.
So join with me and lets build the movement required that will be large enough to counter this grievous moment in our country. Lets unite behind a solution that unifies and serves the good of our communities.
