Before the first pitch of Thursday's Field of Dreams game, White Sox and New York Yankee players walked out of the cornfields — just like in the movie. It was magical.
Fans erupted on Twitter talking about the breathtaking views of the field in Dyersville, Iowa, specifically created by Major League Baseball for this unique game.
Now fans and media are wondering where the next movie set baseball game should be played should there be another opportunity granted by MLB.
Bleacher Report's Tyler Conway suggested a game be played at the Oakland Coliseum in honor of the 1994 movie "Angels in the Outfield", starring a young Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Others hope to see the live screen adaption in different sports, like soccer.

It is unknown if MLB will continue this new trend at other iconic movie locations, but it looks like the Chicago Cubs will play in next year's Field of Dreams game.

On Thursday, Cubs manager David Ross let it slip to media that his team would be Chicago's next group to play in Iowa.
“We’re in that next year, right?" Ross said, unknowing that the announcement was not yet made official.
“No. We’re not, we’re not, we’re not,” he said, lightly banging his head against the dugout.
It looks like two Field of Dreams games will eventually go down in the books. Where should the next two teams play after 2022?
