Thanks to Covid, we’re watching a lot more TV these days. Hey, we’re doing our part to slow the virus.
As if we needed another reason to waste the day away, Wednesday is “National Christmas Movie Marathon Day.” Who knew someone invented a holiday that celebrates plopping down onto the sofa and binging holiday movies? You can create your own playlist, or you can switch to the Hallmark Channel. That network did, after all, add 40 Christmas movies this year.
Polls and online forums have declared “Home Alone” as the most popular Christmas movie. That’s also the most popular Christmas movie in New York State. (California picked “The Nightmare Before Christmas” as its No. 1.)
What’s your movie that you’ll watch over and over this season? Take the poll:
Previous poll: We now have two Covid-19 vaccines being distributed. Last week, we asked readers if you would get the shot when it’s available. Thousands of you voted. As of today, 58.25% said you would get the vaccine, while 21.44% said you’ll pass. 20.31% said you’ll wait and see.
